U11

The U11 (formerly U10 - Novice) age division is for players born 2016-2017.

The U11 season is set up as follows:

• U11 teams have two practices per week (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday)

• U11 teams typically play two games a week (Saturdays) between April and June

• U11 teams will be required to travel within southern Alberta for approx. 50% of games

• U11 player evaluations start at the End of March

• U11 teams participate in the LLA Floorbusters Tournament and may participate in other tournaments as well, as determined by the team

• U11 teams will participate in the SALA Playoffs but currently do not participate in Provincials
