The U15 (formerly U14 - Bantam) age division is for players born 2011-2012. The 2025 registration fees are $605.00, plus a refundable volunteer fee of $100.00 (per family). In order to receive the refund, ten (10) volunteer hours are required.
The U15 season is set up as follows:
U15 teams have two practices per week (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday)
U15 teams typically play two games a week (Saturdays) between March and June
U15 teams will be required to travel within southern Alberta for approx. 50% of games
U15 player evaluations start in mid March
U15 teams participate in the LLA Floorbusters Tournament and may participate in other tournaments, as determined by the team
The U15 season ends in June, with the possibility of playing in Playoffs and Provincial Championships
U15 players require full gear. A visual representation of required gear can be found here
Second Year U15 players are encouraged to become officials. Game times for this division are scheduled so that players who have completed ALRA certification are available to referee younger division games throughout SALA.
